Dr. Tracey G. Toback is one of the first Board Certified Foot Surgeons in the Hudson Valley, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Foot Surgery. He has been practicing podiatry in the Hudson Valley since 1988, offering the highest level of comprehensive foot care.
A graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Dr. Toback also served as Assistant Professor for the Department of Medicine and Radiology at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Foot Clinics of New York in Manhattan. He is a Fellow of the American College of Podiatric Radiologists, the American Society of Podiatric Dermatologists and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Toback is a published author and regularly gives guest lectures. He is continually refining his podiatric expertise by attending several educational conferences and seminars annually, whereby offering his patients the newest and most technologically advanced procedures and treatment available.
Dr. Toback is affiliated with the top hospitals and surgical centers in Dutchess, Ulster, and Orange counties. He is also licensed to practice in the neighboring state of Connecticut. Dr. Toback specializes in all phases of diabetic, medical, and surgical foot care, including Reconstructive Foot Surgery, Diabetic and Arthritic Foot Management, Geriatric and Pediatric Foot Care, Trauma and Sports Medicine, Bunions, Hammertoes, Warts, Corns, and Endoscopic Heel Spur Surgery.
For more than 30 years, the residents of the Hudson Valley have relied on and trusted the Toback name. The son of the late Burton Toback, DPM, Tracey followed in his father’s footsteps (no pun intended!) as he pursued his career in podiatric medicine. Dr. Burton Toback began his podiatric practice in New York City and later moved to Newburgh, N.Y. In 1971, he opened his practice in Wappingers Falls, N.Y, and soon expanded to Orange County. Dr. Tracey Toback started his own practice, Highland Podiatry, in 1987 in Highland, N.Y., as his primary location, and has expanded his practice to Kingston and Rhinebeck . In January 2001, Dr. Toback changed the name of his practice to Toback Podiatry in honor of his father.
Dr. Toback resides in Rhinebeck with his wife, two children, and golden retrievers, Asis and TJ. Their latest addition is a 26-toed cat, named Polly-D, short for polydactyl (too many toes!). Toback is an avid racquetball player and sports fan, and continues to support our local baseball team, the Hudson Valley Renegades. He is a coach and sponsor of Rhinebeck T-ball and girls’ softball, and the team podiatrist for the Hudson Valley Saints, our local football team.
